Susurrus
2014
"A whispering or rustling sound," is the definition of Susurrus. I started this project trying to express visually the same feeling I receive when listening to the sound of rustling leaves as wind rolls through a forest. While working on the series it became clear that these photographs also explore the fragility of our natural world, as well as show a duality within nature: transience and eternal forces.
