Ross Brimberry

In the Forests of Make Believe is about created green spaces. Parks and backyards. The small green areas in a housing development or business. I wanted to show how lacking these spaces usually are, so each photo has a white background and only a select range of colors from the original photographs. They are also collages of different types of plants I found in the aforementioned types of areas. I want this series to suggest how lacking our green spaces are of complex environmental interactions because they are overly manicured.
